Our Founder
Vianey Corzo, SRA
Vianey Corzo has extensive experience in the appraisal of New York City luxury and complex properties with multimillion-dollar valuations. Ms. Corzo has performed hundreds of appraisal assignments including condominiums, cooperatives, single-family, multi-family, mixed-use properties, medical/professional offices in New York City. Vianey started her appraisal career at Vanderbilt Appraisal and subsequently founded Argentus Appraisal NYC Corp.
Before her appraisal career, she was Director of Lending for a network of Credit Unions in New York City. In this role, she arranged financing for small businesses and trained loan officers in financial analysis and loan underwriting. She also coordinated the inclusion of these Credit Unions in federal programs such as the Small Business Administration, which doubled the number of business that qualified for credit union financing.
Vianey’s international work experience also includes four years at Bancomext (Mexico’s export-import bank) where she trained companies to obtain financing to export goods around the world. She has also taught courses in financial analysis and business plan development, and she has judged business plan competitions in New York City. Vianey’s passion for providing excellent customer service, combined with her work experience gives her a unique perspective of what banks, attorneys, and underwriters need to make informed decisions.
Vianey has received the prestigious SRA membership designation by the Appraisal Institute. This designation is held by professionals who can provide a wide range of services relating to residential properties, including opinions of value, evaluations, reviews, consulting and advice regarding investments decisions. Appraisers holding the SRA designation have met rigorous criteria with respect to education, testing, experience and a demonstration of knowledge, understanding and ability.
Vianey has an MBA from EGADE/Kelley School of Business at Indiana University. She holds a New York State Certified Residential Real Estate Appraiser License.
She lives in the Upper West Side in Manhattan and in her spare time she likes to run and play tennis, but her favorite sport is to chase her two daughters in Central Park.
